1. Information We Collect
a. Information You Provide to Us
Registration Information – When you sign up for a Company account, you give us your name, email address, and phone number. If you decide to sign up for Company account using your Facebook account, we will also get basic information from your Facebook profile like your name, gender, profile photo, and Facebook friends.
Payment Method – When you add a credit card or payment method to your account, we will receive that information and a third party “payment gateway” that handles payments for us will receive your payment Information.
All credit/debit cards’ details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties.
Communications – If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you. For example, when you contact us for customer support, we will receive your name, email address, phone number, the contents of a message or attachments that you may send to us, and other information you choose to provide.
b. Information We Collect When You Use the Services
Location Information – When you open the Application on your mobile device, we receive your location. We may also collect the precise location of your device when the Application is running in the foreground or background.
Device Information – We receive information from Users’ devices, including IP address, web browser type, mobile operating system version, phone carrier and manufacturer, application installations, device identifiers, mobile advertising identifiers, and, if you register with your Facebook account, your Facebook identifier. We collect mobile sensor data from devices (such as speed, direction, height, acceleration or deceleration) to improve location accuracy and analyse usage patterns.
Usage Information – To help us understand how you use the Services and to help us improve it, we automatically receive information about your interactions with the Services, like your actions within the Application and the dates and times of your use.
Call and Text Information – We work with a third-party partner to facilitate phone calls and text messages through the Services. We receive information about these communications including the date and time of the call or SMS message, the parties’ phone numbers, and the content of any SMS messages.
User Feedback – At nefsy, we want to make sure you and other customers are always enjoying a great service. With that in mind, we receive information about ratings and reviews you and others provide.
Information from Cookies and Similar Technologies – We collect information through the use of “cookies”, tracking pixels, and similar technologies to understand how you navigate through the Services and interact with Company advertisements, to learn what content is popular, and to save your preferences. Cookies are small text files that web servers place on your device; they are designed to store basic information and to help websites and apps recognise your browser. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. A session cookie disappears after you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be accessed every time you use the Services. You should consult your web browser(s) to modify your cookie settings. Please note that if you delete or choose not to accept cookies from us, you may be missing out on certain features of the Services.
c. Information We Collect from Third Parties
Third Party Services – If you choose to register with nefsy or otherwise link your nefsy account with a third party’s service (such as Facebook or PayPal), we may receive the same type of information we collect from you (described above) directly from those services.
Third Party Partners – We may receive additional information about you, such as demographic data, payment information, or fraud detection information, from third party partners and combine it with other information that we have about you.
2. How We Use the Information We Collect
We use the information we collect from all Users to:
Provide, improve, expand, and promote the Services;
Analyse how the nefsy community uses the Services;
Communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, including for marketing and promotional purposes;
Personalise the experience for you and your friends and contacts;
Send you text messages and push notifications;
Facilitate transactions and payments;
Provide you with customer support;
Find and prevent fraud; and
Respond to trust and safety issues that may arise, and requests from government authorities.
By using the Service, you agree that nefsy can access, aggregate and use non-personally identifiable data that nefsy has collected from you. This data will in no way identify you or any other individual.
Nefsy may use this aggregated non-personally identifiable data to:
• assist us to better understand how our customers are using the Service,
• provide our customers with further information regarding the uses and benefits of the Service,
• enhance small business productivity, including by creating useful business insights from that aggregated data and allowing you to benchmark your business’ performance against that aggregated data, and
• otherwise to improve the Service.
3. Sharing Between Company and Third Parties
Integration Partners – If you connect to the Services through an integration with a third party service, we may share information about your use of the Services with that third party. We may share your information with our third-party partners in order to receive additional information about you. We may also share your information with third party partners to create offers that may be of interest to you.
Service Providers – We work with third-party service providers to perform services on our behalf, and we may share your information with such service providers to help us provide the Services.
Merchants – We may share your information with various merchants. From time to time, we provide offers from particular merchants who, as part of the offer, request information on our Users. In those cases, we share some of your personally identifiable information with those merchants. Sharing this Information may allow a merchant to market directly to you should they choose to do so. We specifically disclaim any responsibility or liability for the actions of such merchant(s). We do not have any responsibility for the actions of the merchants, and the actions of the merchants are not in our control.
International Partners – We’ve partnered with organisations around the globe so Users can expand their accessibility and ease of use with our app. When we utilise an organisation from a foreign jurisdiction, we share the same information that is shared between domestic entities.
Other Sharing – We may share your information with third parties in the following cases:
• While negotiating or in relation to a change of corporate control such as a restructuring, merger or sale of our assets;
• If a government authority requests information and we think disclosure is required or appropriate in order to comply with laws, regulations, or a legal process;
• With law enforcement officials, government authorities, or third parties if we think doing so is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company community, Company, or the public;
• To comply with a legal requirement or process, including but not limited to, civil and criminal subpoenas, court orders or other compulsory disclosures.
• If you signed up for a promotion with another User’s referral or promotion code, with your referrer to let them know about your redemption of or qualification for the promotion;
• With our insurance partners to help determine and provide relevant coverage in the event of an incident;
• To provide information about the use of the Services to potential business partners in aggregated or de-identified form that can’t reasonably be used to identify you; and
• Whenever you consent to the sharing.
4. Storing Your Information
Company holds your personal information on servers located around the globe.
By entering personal information into the Services, you consent to that personal information being hosted on servers located anywhere in the world. While your personal information will be stored on servers located around the globe, it will remain within Nefsy’s effective control at all times. Each data hosting provider’s role is limited to providing a hosting and storage service to Nefsy, and we’ve taken steps to ensure that our data hosting providers do not have access to, and use the necessary level of protection for, your personal information. They do not control and are not permitted to access or use your personal information, except for the limited purpose of storing the information.
If you do not want your personal information to be transferred to a server located on our servers, you should not provide Nefsy with your personal information or use the Service.
5. Your Choices
Email Subscriptions – You can always unsubscribe from our commercial or promotional emails, but we will still send you transactional and relational emails about your account use of the Services.
Text Messages – You can opt out of receiving commercial or promotional text messages by sending us an email to email@example.com however, opting out of receiving all texts may impact your use of the Services.
Push Notifications – You can opt out of receiving push notifications from the Application through your device settings. Please note that opting out of receiving push notifications may impact your use of the Services.
Profile Information – You can delete any information that you added to your account at any time if you don’t want others to see it. Nefsy will retain copies of the information as provided herein.
Location Information – While you can prevent your device from sharing location information at any time through your device’s operating system settings, it may prevent your use of certain Service features and functions.
Data Security – Nefsy is committed to protecting the security of your personal information and we take all reasonable precautions to protect it from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Your personal information is stored on secure servers that have SSL Certificates issued by leading certificate authorities, and all data transferred between you and the Company is encrypted.
However, the Internet is not in itself a secure environment and we cannot give a guarantee that your information will be secure at all times. Transmission of personal information over the Internet is at your own risk and you should only enter, or instruct the entering of, personal information to the Service within a secure environment.
We will advise you at the first reasonable opportunity upon discovering or being advised of a security breach where your personal information is lost, stolen, accessed, used, disclosed, copied, modified, or disposed of by any unauthorised persons or in any unauthorised manner.
MINORS – Nefsy does not knowingly collect personal information from minors under the age of 18. Minors are not permitted to use the website or services, and nefsy requests that minors under the age of 18 not submit any personal information to the website. Since information regarding minors under the age of 18 is not collected, we do not knowingly distribute personal information regarding minors under the age of 18.
